Our History

  • Hubert Fox, U.S. Army Veteran, immigrant, entrepreneur, tool and die mold maker and engineer, founded Four Process Ltd. at its original location in South City, St Louis, Missouri.

The company began as a cast-to-size tooling foundry and machine shop. Hubert helped to develop unique mold technology for molds in the shoe, medical device and electronics industries.

  • Son, Mark, and daughter, Barbara, join the business.

  • Four Process moves to Fenton, Missouri. And spends 1983 retooling the new facility to adjust to domestic manufacturing needs with conventional injection molds.

  • Warehouse and shop expansions; addition of assembly and sonic welding.

  • Hubert Fox passes away; wife, Ursula, and son, Mark, take over the business.

  • Additional injection mold machines added and upgraded.

  • Hubert's grandson, Nick, and grandson-in-law, Brett Richardet, join business.

  • Received ISO 9001:2015 Certification for manufacturing of close tolerance engineered plastic parts and assemblies.

  • Moved operations to a 23,000 square-foot facility in Valley Park, Missouri to expand molding capabilities and add space for presses, quality lab, assembly and robotics automation.

  • We are celebrating our 50th anniversary – a huge milestone we couldn’t achieve without our employees, customers and suppliers. We are grateful to everyone who has supported us and taken part in taking us from a cast-to-size tooling foundry and machine shop to a custom, precision plastic injection molder – and so much more.
